YOU & I
This series is inspired from the song “You & I” by Wilco.
It is about a couple’s relationship, and it conveys a happy and fun mood.
I wanted to represent “connections” through my pieces. I wished to connect them and others, so they could help people find happiness.
I used pastels and charcoals I used for the SUN RISES (2011) series because they give a heart-warming atmosphere befitting the concept of this series.
このシリーズは、アメリカのカントリー＆ロックバンドWilcoの “ You & I ”という曲からインスピレーションをうけて始めたシリーズです。
恋人達の関係について歌われている、とてもハッピーで優しい雰囲気の曲です。
「人とのつながり」を表現したくて、また、ベアロミックスの作品が誰かとつながれるように、そしてつながった誰かが幸せとつながれるよう、願いを込めて描きました。
パステルと木炭の持つ優しい雰囲気がこのシリーズにぴったりだと思い、THE SUN RISE (2011)と同じ画材を使用しています。
